Our Story
Marzette’s House began in 1993 in Los Angeles, CA; the outreach ministry served children and families in the local community, as well as projects and parks in the area. In partnership with World Opportunities, the outreach provided clothing and food to those in need weekly . In 1997, the ministry relocated to the Antelope Valley and continues to serve community members who traditionally are left unserved through “street outreach” that includes local parks, motels, alleys, etc. The ministry was named after Pastor Marzette Henry’s mother, Marzette Washington, as a way to honor her life as a young mother; although she was diagnosed with a terminal illness, she ensured her children’s needs were met. The mission statement is dedicated to her and all women.

Our team is made up of passionate individuals who believe in meeting people where they are, offering essential resources, support, and dignity. Together, we’re building a more inclusive, caring, and connected future for all.
Motto
We provide a helping hand to those in need, a hand-up, not a handout.
